After graduating from pharmacy school, Thu completed two years of residency and began her career in a clinical acute care setting. Despite her career success, she could not help but notice the deep-rooted issues in pharmacy and healthcare. Thu struggled to ignore the toxic environment and poor job satisfaction among her peers, exacerbated during the pandemic. Inspired by the lessons from those difficult years, Thu was determined to create meaningful and impactful work in the pharmacy profession. She began sharing my voice and stories online, which garnered a large audience. She met other pharmacy entrepreneurs wanting to make a difference in the profession. And Thu met Saley. Together, this podcast was born.

Saley Traore-Uwalaka

Saley is a force to be reckoned with in the pharmacy world. Graduated from University of Maryland Eastern Shore, she went on to complete a PGY1. She began her career ambitiously providing patient-centered and clinical services to these medically underserved and underrepresented populations through collaboration with the patients, caregivers, and providers to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes. In addition to the success in the clinical route, her passion for pharmacy education has also led her down an unexpected entrepreneurial path, which compelled her to launch Rezi Prep 360. As a chronic kidney disease and transplant warrior, she lives her life to the fullest. Her fighting spirit screams: "Fight for what is right, especially for people who do not have the means or courage to fight for themselves. But most importantly, fight for YOUR DREAMS".

With her conviction to fight and advocate for the profession and the pharmacists in the profession, Saley joins Thu on this journey.
